The most common problems are caused by incorrect installation of the sensor or by disconnected/misconnected cables.
If the light integrator does not detect any UV light:
- Are the UV lights on? If they are, then…
- Is the sensor close enough to the light source, and is the sensor filter pointing directly at the lights? If yes, then…
- Is the sensor cable properly connected to the USB-A connector on the light integrator? If yes, then…

If using the power controller, but the UV light source does not switch on:
- Are the two mains electricity cables connected properly? If they are, then…
- Is the mains supply switched on? If yes, then…
- Is the controller cable connected to the 2.5mm jack plug on the light integrator? If yes, then…
- Does the power controller’s indicator LED light up? If yes, then re-check the cables (including the light source) because the controller is correctly receiving the control signal from the light integrator. If no, then re-check the controller cable
