This is the hardware prototype for my latest project, a spectrum analyser. My goal is to build a device that can work as a light meter for UV-sensitive silver-based processes such as collodion.
So far I can measure and compare 9 different wavelengths from 365nm (UV A) through to 680nm (deep red), and I can reference this to the spectral response of various silver compounds. Because I’m including a UV sensor, this should be a much more helpful light meter than one designed for just visible light.
My next job is to turn this tangle of wires into a viable hardware design. I’ve also got a lot more coding to do.
